Our Talented & Caring Residential Dining Storekeepers

By 6:00am each morning, our four Storekeepers are ready to receive the goods that will be used to prepare our daily meals. With over 84 years of combined service, Doug Wishon, Eric Veal, Richard Lindsten and Ruben Ramirez are the front line for the food delivery and are responsible for receiving all produce and products, counting goods and storing all items for their unit.

National Conference for Race & Ethnicity in American Higher Education

Creating and Sustaining Comprehensive Institutional Change

The 29th annual National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education (NCORE) was held in San Francisco on May 31 – June 4, 2016. Over 3,500 delegates from around the nation attended the conference. The conference is sponsored each year by the University of Oklahoma, and provides an annual place for the gathering of leaders from across our nation and territories who explore critical issues of racial equity and indigenous equity for students, staff and faculty in higher education.

Tell Us What You Think! Take the Employee Engagement Survey.

In late July we will be launching an employee engagement survey in conjunction with the Human Resources consulting firm McLean & Co. We’ll be asking questions based upon what we’re doing well, as well as soliciting ideas for improvements. Everyone will get a unique code to respond to the survey (which is available in English and Spanish), and all responses will be confidential with the McLean group, who will then provide us overviews by area. Some of the sample open-ended questions we’ll be asking include:
