Transportation & Parking Services provides safe and reliable parking, fleet services and transportation alternatives to the UCSB campus community.
Guest Services and Enforcement
Guest Services and Enforcement manage the transportation logistics of campus events ranging from small meetings to major events including traffic control and wayfinding. This area is also responsible for enforcing all campus parking regulations in accordance with the California Vehicle Code.
Parking Operations
Parking Operations oversees parking permit issuance and the citation adjudication office. This includes maintaining all field technology including permit dispensers, single-space meters, and vehicle occupancy systems.
Transportation Alternatives Program
Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) serves those who commute to UCSB by foot, skateboard, bicycle, bus, carpool, vanpool or train. By reducing traffic congestion, traffic emissions and the demand for parking on campus, TAP conserves energy and contributes to a better UCSB.
Transportation Services
Transportation Services manages a fleet of over 350 vehicles. This includes operating an automotive garage that maintains and repairs UCSB’s fleet of vehicles, maintaining an on-campus fuel station, providing short-term vehicle rental services for business travel, and providing roadside assistance.
