The WE CARE Booklet

Bringing Our Values to Life

Over the past few years, we have been shaping the collective HDAE WE CARE values, which many voices helped to create and refine. To activate our new values and see them in action, we began using them as part of our appreciation program at HDAE Town Hall meetings and as the foundational framework for onboarding new employees in the WE CARE Welcome program. One of the aspirations for these values was to have a booklet to capture who we are and bring the WE CARE values to life. Enter graphic artist Eric Zobel! He worked his magic and, with input from Julie Levangie, Gabrielle Coulousi, Shalauna Miller, Lisa Slavid and Gracie Huerta, has created an artistic masterpiece that colorfully represents who we are, what we do, and most importantly how we care!  

If you are working off campus and would like to request a WE CARE booklet via mail, please email housing-frontdesk@ucsb.edu with your name and full address. If you are currently working on campus, we are working on a distribution method soon.
