From Campus Store: Launching Custom Promotional Goods and Apparel Service

The UC Santa Barbara Campus Store is excited to introduce a new program led by program manager Michele Kunz, offering custom UCSB promotional goods and apparel. This innovative initiative empowers university departments and organizations to enhance their visibility and showcase their unique identities.

Through a strategic partnership with an approved licensed vendor, the Campus Store now provides a comprehensive platform for ordering a diverse range of high-quality custom products. Departments and groups can personalize everything from t-shirts and sweatshirts to pens and water bottles, tailoring merchandise to their specific needs and preferences. Michele Kunz, the driving force behind this program, emphasizes the importance of personalized assistance and customer satisfaction. "Our goal is to make the process seamless and enjoyable for our customers," says Kunz. "We're here to provide expert guidance on product selection, pricing, and customization options to ensure every department gets exactly what they need."

From Retail Dining: New at Romaine’s Soup & Salad Bar

May is National Salad Month, and what better way to celebrate than trying the new salad special at Romaine’s Soup and Salad Bar? Every quarter, Romaine’s adds a new, seasonal salad special to their menu. Their new Spring Salad features a delicious blend of spring mix, feta cheese, fresh strawberries, avocado, and pumpkin seeds. With fresh ingredients and customizable salads, Romaine’s is the perfect spot for a lighter meal on campus.

In the Fall, Romaine’s also introduced a new rotating soup menu featuring a variety of fresh, house-made soups. Every day they serve two different soups, a vegan option and a meat option like Pozole and Tortilla Soup. Follow them on Instagram @romaines_ucsb to see what soups they are serving. Romaine’s is open Monday - Thursday, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Visit them in the UCen and enjoy their new salad special or a warm cup of soup!
