Santa Catalina Move Out
It’s exciting times in the Santa Catalina area!
With construction underway on the new San Joaquin Apartments and Portola Dining Commons, we faced some challenges regarding the building’s move out this year. However, with the help of a few outside organizations, we managed to successfully move out approximately 1,600 residents. Thanks to Santa Barbara County and Total Barricade Services, we turned half of El Colegio Road into a loading/unloading zone; a brand new parking lot, Lot 60, opened for those who needed a place to park their car; and finally, Mammoth Moving, Inc. provided some sturdy hands to help our residents load up their cars and head home on time. We learned many valuable lessons that will help prepare us for years to come!
