The Housing elves were hard at work in our cozy conference room last December 13. Santa's helpers were wrapping a total of forty-four presents for the kids from the IV Youth Project. Happy Holidays everyone!
CONGRATULATIONS!: Walker Erling Engebrits (pictured below left with Iris & Pearl) was born to Sara & Nick Engebrits on January 9 weighing 8lbs, and measuring 20"...Maximus Gabriel Gomez (pictured below right) was born to Marisol & Gabriel Gomez on December 2 weighing 7lbs 4oz, and measuring 19"...Catalea Sofia Figueroa was born to Michelle & Adolfo Figueroa on December 5 weighing 6lbs 8oz, and measuring 19"...and, Paul Kouns and Adriana Perez tied the knot on October 15.
We are closing the loop! The 1st delivery of biodiesel fuel for our grounds equipment was made on November 18. The fuel was created from reclaiming our dining commons cooking oil with the help of our partners at BioDico.
Jill Horst graced the cover of the November 2016 issue of the Foodservice Director Magazine. They’re gearing up for the National Restaurant Association show this May, and as a veteran attendee (since 2009), she’s an expert at making the most of this event.
In this season of gratitude, we are thankful for our wonderful Gauchos, particularly the Community Affairs Board. This student organization took the time to write out multiple appreciations for our maintenance staff.
