UCSB Conference & Hospitality Services is excited to offer a new program this summer! Intern Housing will offer convenient and affordable housing in San Joaquin Villages to students participating in a summer internship or job in the Santa Barbara area. It's also available to UC Santa Barbara students working on campus in the summer.

In the continuing effort to rebrand the Campus Store, formerly the Bookstore, a new sign was installed at the entrance. This was one of the last important updates, as all marketing materials, the website URL, and interior signage reflects this change. All of this was done to remind our community that we offer a wide assortment of merchandise and provide many services in addition to textbooks.

Whitney Morris, Director of Conference & Hospitality Services, taking a spin on an e-bike. Transportation & Parking Services has launched a pilot program that will allow UCSB staff and faculty to try commuting to campus with an electric bicycle for up to two days. For staff and faculty that live within 12-miles of campus and typically commute by car, this is a great opportunity to try a more sustainable alternative. Interested staff and faculty can email TAP@tps.ucsb.edu. Once approved for the program, the individual can coordinate directly with our vendor, e-bikery, to complete the rental process. TPS will cover the cost of the rentals for this program.
