Happy Holidays

I enjoyed seeing many of you at Town Hall Cheer. I’m glad we were able to celebrate together! As the fall quarter comes to an end, I want to express my sincere appreciation for all you have contributed to our wonderful campus. I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to work with all of you. I want to extend a special thank you to HDAE team members whose responsibilities may have become more complicated due to the strike of academic workers. You have handled challenging situations with grace and dignity.

We are in the process of taking a critical look at our organization to make sure that the resources needed to support our WE CARE values are properly allocated. A part of this review will be helped by our recently completed staff engagement survey. Thanks to all of you who participated in the survey. Your voices will be recognized as we take future actions to improve your experience as an employee and enhance our ability to deliver great service to the campus community.

Reflecting on the last few years, it’s clear to see how hard you all have worked on behalf of our students and customers. Now it’s time to enjoy the break and look forward to a new year of success. My very best wishes to you and your loved ones this holiday season – may it be peaceful and restful!
