A Bittersweet Goodbye
Saying Farewell from Afar to our Graduating Seniors
Our department relies heavily on student workers, and graduation often means the departure of a valued colleague and friend. Student workers carry out our values daily in amazing ways. Their hard work and leadership make a huge impact on our communities and it shows. This year was particularly difficult since many of us didn’t get to say “goodbye” in person. Although it’s bittersweet, we should still take the time to celebrate, congratulate and applaud our students as they set out to make the world a better place armed with a degree from UCSB. Pictured are some of our student workers who recently graduated. Thank you for all the exceptional work you have done. You will be missed!
